you know what I love about the sex lives of college girls? it knows when to create drama and when not and instead shows us how helpful understanding can be, specially in female friendships. how Kimberly had this thing with Nico and didn’t tell Leighton and when she finds out, does she get mad at her? no! she immediately wants nico to apologize and looks after Kimberly. when Whitney tells the team about the affair do they blame her? no! they support her and make her understand it’s not her fault. when she tells her mother? same! when Bela decides to talk about the assault do they not believe her? the girls all support her and same with the girls at the comedy club. and Eric coming to apologize and making sure he does better next time and kicking him out. and on and on.
what I mean is, I was on the edge of my seat in this scenes worried that it would create unnecessary drama because I feel that’s how this kind of scenes usually go but no they surprise me and it felt good and real and important.
